About the Recipe

Ingredients
2-5 cups of rice (washed well) Note: Basmati Rice is fantastic for all our rice cooker flavours
1 Yes! Rice Cooker Flavour Pack
1tbsp Olive oil (optional)
20g Butter (optional)
Water to cook
Preparation
Directions:
Wash your rice well and drain (I usually wash under cold water for a good 15 minutes)
Line your rice cooker bowl with Rice cooker baking sheet and silicone mat (optional)
Add washed rice, Yes! Rice Cooker Flavour Pack and water as per rice cooker directions. Stir well.
Add olive oil and butter (if desired)
Cook as per your rice cooker instructions.
Once cooked, leave unopened for 5 minutes or so to rest.
Remove cinnamon quill and any other whole spices if desired.
Fluff and stir with a fork.
Serve and enjoy!
Once cooked, try stirring in some just cooked peas, fresh herbs or anything else that takes your fancy. Yum
⚠️ Rice Cooker Tips:
• Our recipes are tested in a standard 1.8 L rice cooker.
• Smaller or older cookers may run hotter – add a splash more water if needed.
• If your cooker tends to stick, give it a gentle stir halfway through cooking.
• Always check that food is cooked through before serving.
