Ingredients
1 piece corned beef brisket (1–1.5kg)
1 Corned Beef flavour pack
1 onion, quartered
3 carrots, cut into chunks
Splash of Malt vinegar
Water (enough to cover the meat)
Optional: mustard or chutney to serve
Preparation
Place beef in slow cooker with onion, carrots, water, vinegar, and flavour pack.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours. (times can vary slightly between different cookers)
Serve; Classic way? Mash, veggies, and mustard sauce — proper hearty comfort food.
or try the Flat feed way? Forget the mash — just stack the corned beef into slider buns with cheese, slaw, or whatever’s in the fridge. Easy as!
