About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 piece corned beef brisket (1–1.5kg)

  • 1 Corned Beef flavour pack

  • 1 onion, quartered

  • 3 carrots, cut into chunks

  • Splash of Malt vinegar

  • Water (enough to cover the meat)

  • Optional: mustard or chutney to serve



Preparation

  1. Place beef in slow cooker with onion, carrots, water, vinegar, and flavour pack.

  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours. (times can vary slightly between different cookers)

  3. Serve; Classic way? Mash, veggies, and mustard sauce — proper hearty comfort food.

    or try the Flat feed way? Forget the mash — just stack the corned beef into slider buns with cheese, slaw, or whatever’s in the fridge. Easy as!
